Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week is May 7 – 11th, 2018
This year’s theme is based on the Olympics and is Asian inspired (Pyeong Chang, Korea Winter Olympics 2018)
Rockburn Staff are Gold Medal Winners! Thank you for teaching our children how to GO for the GOLD!
The Rockburn PTA is organizing many events, activities, and expressions of our appreciation for our incredible teachers and staff. In order to make this week a smashing success, we need your help.
Schedule of Events
Monday, May 7: Staff Luncheon (Chinese food to be provided by PTA with desserts/drinks donated by parents)
Tuesday, May 8: Fresh Fruit Bar (parent donations)
Wednesday, May 9: The Omelette Man (donated by Kumon)
Thursday, May 10: Traditional Korean Desserts, Snacks and Drinks (provided by PTA)
Friday, May 11: Breakfast (donated by Panera and PTA)
What we ask from our Rockburn families:

Below are ways your child can participate throughout the week. Please feel free to choose one day only or more if you would like.
- Thank You Notes and/or Flowers (Monday, May 7th): Please have your child write and bring in thank you notes to their homeroom teacher and one staff member. Don’t forget Specials teachers, paraeducators, Special Ed and front office staff too. We have a template below you can print out but feel free to use any thank you card.
- School Supplies (Wednesday, May 9th): Please send in a school supply for your child’s homeroom teacher. See below for suggested items to bring in.
- Gift Card Day (Friday, May 11th): Please send in a gift card for a teacher or staff member (Suggested amount $5 – $10. Please do not exceed $25). Click on Rockburn’s Staff Favorites List for gift card ideas for specific staff members.
