In honor of Autism Awareness Month, Dr. Holman will highlight the unique gifts of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and discuss different strategies to create a more inclusive and accepting community. Dr. Holman will share important information with parents that can be used in helping their own children have a better understanding of how ASD can impact a child’s communication and behavior. Information on how parents can facilitate connections between their children and children with ASD at school and in our communities will also be shared.
