3/24: Spirit Choice Day: Students are encouraged to choose a favorite spirit day. Some suggestions are Family Heritage Day, Color Day, Rock Star Day, Twin Day, Sports Day, Crazy Hat Day, or any other appropriate day they can think of. Please encourage your child to be creative and join in the fun!

4/9 & 10: The Columbia Figure Skating Club is preparing for their spring performance Cinderella on Ice. Ian Lorello, International Ice Dance Competitor will be performing the role of the Prince. Ian currently teaches locally and works with The Next Ice Age. Julia Choi, a junior at Marriottsridge High School and National Pairs Intermediate Competitor will be performing the role of Cinderella. The show includes over 60 local skaters from Howard County Public and Private Schools. Please join us at one of our shows April 9th or 10th at either 4:00 pm or 6:00 pm Tickets are available at the Columbia Ice Rink at 5876 Thunder Hill Road, Columbia, MD 21045 or at www.columbiafsc.com for $12.50 per ticket.
4/21 Rockburn Media Center. 7-8pm: PTA presents: Raising Autism-Friendly Kids. In honor of Autism Awareness Month, Dr. Holman will highlight the unique gifts of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and discuss different strategies to create a more inclusive and accepting community. Dr. Holman will share important information with parents that can be used in helping their own children have a better understanding of how ASD can impact a child’s communication and behavior. Information on how parents can facilitate connections between their children and children with ASD at school and in our communities will also be shared. This event is free.
